Hannah McDougall
B.MSkH, Post.Grad.Dip. (Osteopathy) MONZ

Hannah has always had a strong interest in the human body and movement, alongside a lifelong love of being active. Growing up, staying outdoors and on the move was an important part of her life, and that passion continues today through skiing, mountain biking, walking, and running.

This active background naturally led Hannah to osteopathy, drawn to its holistic approach and focus on treating the body as a whole. She enjoys working with people from all walks of life and supporting them through their individual health journeys whether that’s recovering from injury, or improving everyday movement.

Hannah studied osteopathy at the Ara Institute of Canterbury, where she completed a Bachelor of Musculoskeletal Health and a Postgraduate Diploma in Osteopathy. She is a registered osteopath with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and Osteopaths New Zealand, and is also an ACC registered provider.

Hannah values the variety that osteopathy brings and enjoys tailoring treatment to each individual. She takes the time to listen and work collaboratively with her patients, understanding that every person presents a unique story and set of goals.

Outside of the clinic, Hannah makes the most of Canterbury’s outdoors. You’ll often find her up the mountain skiing, exploring trails on her mountain bike, or enjoying a walk or run. Having experienced firsthand how important it is to have a body that moves well, Hannah is committed to providing patient-centred, whole-body care to help her patients stay active and pursue the things they love.
